NOTE: The MD version is currently being modified. The goal is to unify the HipStar versions.

Many customers initially consider the MD version but often switch to the HD model. Both versions share the same lightweight and durable frame, making them ideal for any journey.

The HD model is popular due to its features, including disc brakes, reinforced wheels, and hubs with disc rotors. A standout feature is its threaded HD axle, which prevents wheel oscillation and ensures that the brake rotors do not grind against the calipers.

In contrast, the MD version has a quick-release axle, allowing for slight wheel oscillation. If you prefer not to use brakes, you can easily remove the brake components (levers, cables, calipers, and rotors) in 10-15 minutes and use the trailer like the MD version. You can switch back to the HD configuration at any time. However, please note that you cannot convert the MD version to the HD version due to the quick-release axle and the lack of hubs for brake rotors on its wheels.
